Library Engineer

  • Provide hardware library support for world-wide customer PCB design projects
  • Create component schematic model, PCB/template CAD model and part information in center library
  • Maintain hardware library to adapt to DFM/DFA specification of PCB/assembly vendor
  • Give consulting on component selection and substitution for hardware design
  • Collaborate with PCB designer on custom library work to ensure hardware design success

Requirements

Basic Requirement:

  • Bachelor with a major in Science or Engineering
  • Have basic knowledge in electronic components
  • Able to read mechanical drawing like three-view drawing, dimension
  • Meticulous, pay attention to details
  • Good communication skills, good written and oral English

 

Below as a Plus:

  • Bachelors in Electronic Engineering or mechatronic relative major
  • Good knowledge of electronic component parameters
  • Basic understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for assembly) in PCB
  • Fast Learning on new things
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, Power Point)
