ServiceNow Sr. Developer
As a Lead Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing customizations, applications, extensions, and integrations that maximize the efficacy of the CRM application, ServiceNow
You will work collaboratively with our Project Team to translate business needs into effective and scalable products within the CRM. Your contributions will directly impact the growth and future of DIS Tech – Cortex Project.
You will work in a team of fellow developers locally and internationally and be expected to use programming languages such as Apex and Javascript to develop customized solutions within the ServiceNow platform. You will also be responsible for creating timelines and development goals, testing the stability and functionality of the application, and troubleshooting and fixing bugs
Information Systems Architect
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional and technical expertise to plan, analyze, define and support the implementation of ServiceNow products or group of applications.
- Design, build and configure ServiceNow applications.
- Develop ServiceNow application code, turning user requirements into testable product.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the ServiceNow platform and products.
- Provide detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions. Articulate the benefits and risks to a solution’s feasibility and functionality.
- Optimize all standard processes within ServiceNow through customization, focusing on optimization and ease of use for both internal and external users.
- Build ServiceNow applications and leverage the full capabilities of the ServiceNow platform to support the company’s initiatives.
- Develop needed elements within ServiceNow to integrate smoothly with other anchor platforms.
- Apply best practices and design patterns of best-of-breed applications developed on the ServiceNow platform.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related technical field.
- At least 3 years’ experience on ServiceNow development or architecture.
- ServiceNow development or architecture skills on the ServiceNow Platform and its product lines including but not limited to CSM, SPM.
- Proficiency with ServiceNow development includes modification of standard objects and fields and creation of custom objects and fields.
- Experience in customization, configuration of ServiceNow functionality using the most updated relevant technologies
- In depth knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and experience building integrations with ServiceNow.
- A systems engineering or developer background with the ability to learn quickly & share your knowledge with a broader team.
- Perform thorough impact analysis and testing for ServiceNow patching and platform upgrades.
- ServiceNow Certification is a plus
Good to have skills:
- Experienced in Agile or Scrum Methodology
- Experience in using Atlassian products (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and alike)
- Experience in EASA Software development of highly interactive UI and customer applications is a plus.
- Knowledgeable in Atlassian products (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Jira Work Management, Confluence, plugins)
- Create and execute unit, integration and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data
